Stack silencer reduces the noise generated from the exhaust duct of gas turbine. Splitter type silencer installed in the stack effectively reduces the noise level to meet environmental noise limit before it is vented into the atmosphere. Stack silencer is mainly used for Combined-cycle power plant(CCPP) or Combined heat & power plant(CHPP). The device consists of 2 parts such as Splitter type sound absorbing panels and Support brackets that installed at the inside of Main stack or By-pass stack of the plant.
